MessageRoger very nice web page. Lots of good reading. Brings back old memories of radios and times I had a a young kid getting into ham radio. The "HW30" and "Gonset" were popular then. Built my first receiver and trans, 75 watt
cw rig, regenative rec. I am an avid QRP man
also. QRP CLub International #4697. Run a lot
of 10 meters on old SSB cb's converted to 10.
Have worked 84 countries with 3 watts and cb
conversion. Working now on 5BWAS QRP. My wife's
mother is from London. Wife is a ham also,
kd5ihz. I have been a ham now for 44 yrs.
Really enjoy it. 73's from the state of
New Mexico. smilie

MessageHey there, I just finished my Fredbox!
I love it, it needs a couple of settings in the RX.
As soon as I can find another hb9 down here in southern Switzerland I will try to put up some kind of revival in 144 AM with homemade little radios. The Radioamateur world today needs simple
funny projects, and stop with all the xthousand $
radios ...

By for now, I'll send you a picture soon.
