MessageHi Roger,
Regarding your experience with the IC-703.
I have been 'rigless' for a few years even to the extent of running down the shack hardware in general, but now considering a modest come-back, and the 703/qrp appeals to me.
So, can you enlighten me regarding your use of a 50/60ft 'long-wire' with the 703.
As I don't believe in magic, can it be that you have not needed any external matching ?
Regards,
Geoff G4FAS, S.Manchester

MessageDear Roger
Thanks for an excellent and inspiring website with plenty of useful information. Your recent articles in PW magazine have been most interesting and have encouraged me to look again at both the 10m and 6m bands.
Keep up the good work.
