MessageHi Roger,

A nice bit of nostalgia there smilie

I was 'Manchester Able' for quite a while and sold a ton of the product that you had a hand in!

I live in Canada these days - getting close to retirement smilie but still in the Telecom Business, working with the Ontario Government...

I will always have a soft spot for PTC

I am active (ve3ega/va3ip) on 20/40 digital modes and cw/ssb - say high to Ditton Works (and the Angel Pub) 73 Terry Bennett

MessageWhat a splendid website. Jam packed with information. Thanks for the time and effort you put into it. We all benefit and the hobby becomes easier to take part in without spending loads of money. And we all become better informed in the process.

Messagesmilie Nice page, fun projects. I am working on an AM project to replace the carrier osc and mod section for my FT 101. I had been series connecting the audio into emitter leg of my buffer. I will have to try it on the collector side as you are doing. Also you’re the only one that I have found on the web that applies audio to the both stages. As I recall from the old days this was what was done to get 100% modulation from a transistor circuit. 73’s.

MessageHi Roger

This is Tom I live in Stayton Oregon near the state capital
Salem.
I love QRP My first qrp transmitter a 2 transistor from
Solid State Design book by W7ZOI Wes who lives about
50 mile north of me.
I built the Mini Miser Superheterodyne for 40 and 20 meters.
I did this in about 1979 and have logged station from Maryland
to Alaska from Oregon with just a Dipole antenna.
I now have a K2 which I love to use on QRP.
I started checking into the Oregon Emergency Net
with only 100 mw and now every night we get about 10
or more QRP checkings.
I'm have seen the plans for the 80m tranciever but they
didnt have the infomation for the coil. I hope to try and
built it in the near future.

Thank You
Tom Metz
