MessageSorry but I am not a valve man and don't know of anyone who could help the restoration. Try posting a request on the GQRP newsgroup as folks there are very helpful.

MessageYou may or may not be able to help! I have a Braun radiogram of 1950s vintage that needs a bit of TLC. I came across your site when looking for radio people with a knowledge of valve sets who may be able to look at my Braun in Devon. Have you any ideas among your contacts? Please.
Regards
Geoff Clayton

MessageDear Roger,

Congrats on your work on 136 kHz !
I am following you via your blog and must tell you that I am impressed with what you do with simple components limited space and QRP.

Please keep going and I try to follow your work !
If I would be closer to you I would like to join the fun.
I see that Mike G3XDY is taking part in the tests and Mike is a micro-waver a bit like myself.

I just wanted to say a few words to encourage you.

MessageG'day Roger - I check your site regularly now that there is 136kHz info (especially w.r.t. earth dipoles).

Spent most of this year getting operational on thirteen bands covering 160M to 70cm.

Next will be replicating G0AKN's and your 136kHz earth dipole experiments. I have a 80m earth dipole base left from my 8975Hz experiments (then using VK2ZTO callsign). It will be interesting to compare the results with yours and John's.
