MessageSean nowak isn't the quickest but definately the best. Lopez of Axminster is the quickest but lacks control, whereas nowak is quick and consistent.

As for Chappell - he has played 3 games and scored around 100 runs and prefers the quicker bowlers from what I have seen. Opening the batting in the A division isn't easy, and at a young age, he is doing a decent job.

Dan Hardy should be opening the batting when Chappell isn't around and not batting at 8 or 9 because he cannot come in with 10-20 overs left and play shots - its not his game. Considering there is a problem at the top of the order with Bradninch, why not give Hardy a run to prove himself instead of giving him the odd game?

Bradninch Cricket Club have heaps of potential and are a side for the future. As long as the youngsters stay at the club, Premier Cricket will arrive in the next few years, but you don't want to get promoted too quickly. A couple more years experience for the younger players is essential.

I am looking forward to watching more of Bradninch this year - you guys can only get better.

MessageWho does the legend think he is? Im the only legend on this forum! Sean Nowack is the quickest bowler in the A division and will kill the legend if he finds out who he is. Bring on the harder wickets and up Bradninch Cricket Club will go.

MessageSean Nowack seems to have an admirer there. The statistics don't lie, Riswan Saeed is the best bowler in the league.

MessageSean nowak with another solid performance. 2-18 off 14 overs. A quality young fast bowler. I am looking forward to seeing how he gets on against top batsman next Saturday against North Devon.

MessageGreat report on line site now from Dave Harvey of the Under 15's - well done Dave, lets see many more such reports here on the Bradninch website, proof that the bedrock of the Club, the junior section is alive and kicking, and actually doing quite well too. Congratulations Dave on that win. smilie

MessageSad news to report - the passing of ALAN BANCE - Alan aged 74, passed away in The Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital on Tuesday June 6th after battling illness. Our thoughts go to his widow Elsie and her Family. Alan was a Club stalwart in the 1970's and 1980's and was a more than useful batsman for the Club. He was also a great guiding light for many of the younger players whilst he was at the Club, always happy to pass on any tips. Rest in Peace Alan.
