MessageWhat a fantastic weekend guys. I'm pretty glad I was not around to witness the 1st x1 win at Abbots,my fingers would all be as short as my lawn mower one!! Well done to the OX and GOLDEN HEAD.You have obviously got over your Champions league failures!!! Good luck for this weekend,I will prob not get to see result til Sunday morning as will be out of mobile connection sunning myself in 90 degree heat on a houseboat.Poor old me eh!! See you all soon. All the best Notty smilie

MessageHave to comment on the most exciting Bradninch squad ever. The 1st XI at Abbots typified the spirit with the youngest and the oldest player in the league, fighting wholeheatedly and achieving the most momentus win for their club.

The bowling has matured in to a powerful unit and the strong batting line up, now proven to number XI, will prosper as the sun comes out.

Add to this a 2nd XI that boasts a blend of old and new, pressing the 1st XI for one or two places, and we have a very healthy club.

There is alot of Cricket to play before we can truly make that Selector eat his words, but my view from the boundary has seen a young side coping admirably with difficult conditions, demonstrating maturity well beyond their years.

A pleasure to watch.
