| Message | Who ever the Selector is, he knows very little about cricket (a trait shown by many selectors over the years). BCC's first league match was a first-class affair and the team did well. True, some of the stars didn't come off but it was a good performance. At Cornwood, on a difficult track, the OS player made a huge difference but BCC has all the potential to show, from a widely varied team, that it can do it without the cash and expensive OS players. If the Selector wants to judge the Club on the basis of one match, maybe he should present himself at the next home game so the guys can explain how cricket works. Good luck to you all and show this type of idiot what you can do! |

| Message | very good comment. 1 other factor is that we don't have the finances of other clubs to buy in players and professional overseas players, for example, salman at cornwood. without him, they would of gone down last year, and ended up 3rd. |

| Message | Dont know who the 'selector' is,but perhaps you could be brave and let us know.We are a small club who have come a long way very quickly.Yes we are ambitious,but whats wrong with that?Confident? yea we probably are that aswell.But also realistic,we know we have the best youngsters within the club we have ever had.Great bunch they are aswell.We will do our best and see where it takes us.3 years ago we were playing C div cricket.We are happy with our progress.  |
