| Message | We saw the quartet on Gaither tonight and were blessed with memories of the 'old days'. We trust things are well with you and yours. I notice you will be in Sikeston, Mo the 22nd. I'm sorry that I won't be in attendance; my dad has lived with us for the past 12 years. For 2 1/2 years, he has needed someone with him 24/7 and that someone is primarily yours truly. The time spent with daddy is wonderful and I do not regret one minute of it. Hopefully, Lisa will be in attendance even though she will come without peaches. Best personal regards. Dee |

| Message | Just wanted to say Hi and that you have inherited the great talent of your Dad.I used to visit him at Uncle Emmett and Aunt Carries's close to Chester, MS during the depression years as a little boy and we played together-I am 83 and your Dad was a few years older than me-James had a great imagination and He experieced so much that at that time would have been thought impossible-I remember the great all day singings at Mount Olive Church and at others in the area-that was before television and movies and the best entertainment we had-I still love gospel music and thank God for all the witness you and my cousins James, Doyle,R.W. and his dad Roy have been for the Lord-God bless and keep you-with love-your cousin |

| Message | Hello Jimmy ~ I'm sure you don't remember me. The name is Diann Young now, it was Diann Sykes then however, I went by Diann Garner. I was Covie step-daughter. The youngest one. Donna traveled with The Blackwood Brothers alot, and Covie drove the bus. I just wanted to say hello and let you know that I pray for you every single day. I do keep in contact with Covie. He live here in TN now, he's driving a truck again. I think he's in his 70's. Donna is good. She also said to tell you hello. I'm thinking of going on the Gaither Cruise (my husband and I) we have been married for 15 years. Well I won't keep you. But please respond if you can. God Bless You, For he has me! Diann Young |

| Message | Jimmy & Mona: We woke up this morning with you, Mem, Billy and all your Family on our minds. It doesn't seem like 6 years have passed since our Lord called his faithful servent, James, home. Please know how much we love all of you and that although we, too, know James is singing with the Saints, we miss him too. What is amazing this morning is that at 7 am this morning JDanny said, "this is the day James Blackood died". He was in a horrific auto accident 01-10-08 and after 7 days at UAB Trauma Unit, he is home recovering. He has a severe concussion, among other things, and for him to wake up and remember today and James is stunning. You can visit caringbridge.org to keep up with his progress. Go to "visit" and type in jdannycooper. Mona, we continue to remember you in our prayers also and know your mother's death Dec. 27 leaves a void, even though you know she too, is with our Lord. JDanny is going to try and tell me where to find Mem's phone number so he can call her today, but just in case he can't remember, please let her know how very often she is remembered.
