MessageDear Jimmy,
I am Woodrow and Cora Stark's oldest daughter. In the past few days I watched the television version of "Rock of Ages." You all were simply great! My Mom and Dad are anxiously waiting for you to come to Branson so they can see you there. They are what you'd call TRUE FRIENDS! Thank you for your kindness and attention to them because they mean so much to me.

Your sister in Christ,
Vicki Stark smilie

MessageHi Jimmy & Mona, Today I was transferring a VHS video to DVD from our time together on TV-40's program "Getting Together" back in 1988. We were sharing our testimonies of how the Lord had healed us both. It seems like a lifetime ago. Today my hair is gray, and I walk with a cane, but my spirit is still strong. I am in the 13th year of pastoring a small church in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. I would be privileged to send you all a DVD of that special day we had together. Just make sure I have a mailing address. God Bless You!

MessageJimmy,
It was good to see you at Bethany Bible Church in Phoenix a couple of weeks ago. I'm glad you got a chuckle out of me telling you that Ken Turner said to make him proud.
I've always enjoyed The Blackwood Brothers and deeply touched by the songs. Good gospel music ministers to the soul, doesn't it. I especially enjoyed, "The Old Country Church" which you did at Bethany Bible.
Thanks for all the years of your ministry. I hope to see you out here next year.

MessageDear Jimmy,
I have been a fan of all the Blackwoods for years. I had the honor of meeting your dad, on his birthday several years ago in Fayetteville, Arkansas. His birthday, Aug 4th is my wedding anniversary. He was so nice and down home.
I have seen your quartet sing "More About Jesus" on Bill Gaither's Homecomming. I love that song and the way you guys do it.
I can't wait to get all the groups together in Heaven for an eternal Homecomming. Oh goodness what a time to be with loved ones and to sing, forever.
Sincerely,
Tom Love

MessageIt has been a long time since I have heard your music. My grandfather had the old 78 records in an album set. He also had the green glasses signed by you and the others. I have 3 of the glasses now. My grandfather has long since passed and my mother passed in 2005. I took the records and gave them to his only surviving son. I felt they would be special to him. I can remenber them being played when we visited. God bless you and yours. sincerely Anna Church

MessageHi Jimmy,
I remember your group use to come to Hilltop Baptist Temple in Cedar Park, Texas, back in the 80's. You were one of my sister's favorite singers. Her name was Edie.
The church has a new name now, Twin Lakes Fellowship (www.twinlakesfellowship.org). Pastor Jack Humbert, the founder, died a few years ago in retirement and Bobby Tyler is sr. pastor now.
Good to see your still around.
