MessageHi Sweetie

Sounds like a hot and exciting bunch of days. We have not heard back from Michael about where to meet you. It looks like he is having a rough time in New York and is underwater smilie. If we do not hear from you or him before we arrive in Israel on Friday morning, we will try to be in TLV airport when you guys are leaving.

Love

MessageJANA!!! Hi babe, how are you? It sounded like you and Sam hads a good time with the family last week, I hope so. We have been SO BUSY here that I am sorry I haven't written lately. Mom's big job is moving NOW, and I also have a lot of jobs going. Zev came home yesterday and looks GREAT. He had a great time at Tavor this year, LOVED the food! The weather was great, mostly dry, warm some cool nights... But, it POURED on the last night so everyone slept indoors. We went to Marsha's on Sunday, Gabe and the family were in. It was his 30th birthday and we got to see the new baby, and Jordy's new baby and others too. Dawn has a big brace on and it makes you realize how lucky she is to not be more injured. Jake was at Interlaken so we didn't see him, but they all had stories of Jana on a cliff yelling out to him! Funny. Anyway, Saba was doing great and we had a nice day. We deep fried a turkey again because Gabe wanted it since he missed the July 4th party. Jeremiah has an earing! Micah mostly held babies! Speaking of, you looked quite happy with Matar and Keshet and Eytam and even Sir Lawrence! Orit sent some nice pictures. I must say, you look vibrant and terrific! I hope you feel as good as you looked in those pictures! Anyway, I'm putting the $$ from the suitcase in your account, and I'll probably write again before you leave smilie Take care and HAVE FUN!!! I love you, Dad

MessageDear Simon, I very much look forward to your return, and am missing another manly presence in the household. Too many G's spoil the broth and all that. I saw Negativland last evening; it was interesting --- Negativland's "crusading" IT'S ALL IN YOUR HEAD FM show is an effort to bring our 25-years-on-the-air Over The Edge radio show to the live stage for the first time. No puppets, no film projectors, no bells and whistles... just "theater of the mind"... the creation of a live radio program with a studio audience! "It's All In Your Head FM" is a densely-layered examination of monotheism in all its worldwide forms, as hosted by the venerable Dr. Oslo Norway. --- 2 hrs of why monotheism and God is 'all in your head'. Thought-provoking, you would have liked it. I will probably be picking you up in MD on your return, w/ (I suspect grandparents along as well). It's been almost Israel-hot here, upper 90s and maybe even to 100 but un-Israel high-humidity. I hope your sore throat has cleared; maybe (s)praying helped. Lastly, the Jersey Shore is still doing ok, in case you wondered. Take care, enjoy the last portion of your trip. Love, -Dad

MessageHi Honey - Hope you are still enjoying your time in Israel. Its gotten quite hot here.......98 degrees, probably about what you've become used to!! I'm really enjoying reading about your trip. I hope you've been keeping some kind of personal journal along the way to remember things by. Life is busy here.....I went to two outdoor concerts last week and a pool party on Sunday with other optometrists. Dad and I also went to the memorial service of an acquaintance from Folkshul. Danni Noble's dad died. I finally got my car back...not sure I told you but it needed body work after a fire hydrant hit me! Sam and I are going to Ikea tonight to pick up stuff for her off campus house. We've already been there twice this summer to find stuff. She and I are going to Rose and Irving's house on Friday/Saturday.....and she's leaving early Sunday morning to go to New Orleans to spend the week with Kate.....She's going directly to jess on the way back, so you won't see her til your trip. I understand that you'll be back home by about 11am. Can't wait to see you Sunday!! xoxoxo mom

MessageHi Jazlana!

I'm still in LA! After a very busy, long and exhausting day last night, I made Maureen walk back to the hotel with me (instead of her sneaking away to get a taxi).

Anyway-- it appears NY/NJ had severe rain and floods. I talked to Grandma Ellie just now and she said that Bound Brook is not flooded. She's going to go downtown and check out her store in a bit. The weather in LA is just perfect!

Anyway-- I'll be heading back to NJ very early tomorrow morning. By that time, you will be done with your Masada trek. Hope you do okay! Go for the burn!

I will not be able to send you a message tomorrow. Once I get home, Daddy and I have a belated romantic anniversary dinner at Girasole.

I think this will be the last message I will be able to send since you'll be soon back in P-Way (YOU KNOW)!

I love you very much,

Mommy
