Message | I wrote before but am not sure my message went thru. I am the youngest son of A.C. and Marguerite (O'Hare) Frothingham of New York. My older brothers William and Edward are deceased William died in WW2 Jan 7 1945. He was a torpedo Bomber Pilot. He was lost in the Lingayen Gulf Operations. Brother Edward, was a Marine, and died of natural causes in 1985.I picked up the sword in 1946 and retired from Active Duty from the Army in 1970.Thank you for your fantastic site and the putting together the history of the Frothingham name and all its branches!I am leaving two sons William and Stuart to carry on the name. I would like to find the maiden name of my Father's mother! All I ever heard was her name was Jo, or Josephine. I was also told she was of the Mohegan tribe! As the youngest child I was always told I was the last of the Mohegan's! Again, Thank you for your magnificent work!, Sincerely, Alfred (Skid) Frothingham |
