| Message | My Father, John C. Frothingham joined the Merchant Marines in New York and relocated to Seattle area where he met and married my mother, Ruth E. Hayes. His father was Capt. Donald Y. Frothingham of the Hudson River Branch. My Great Grand Father was Robert Frothingham RF. I would like to hear from relatives from east coast as I have never been there. Dad graduated from Darien High School Class of 39' (Mass. or Conn.) he had fond memories of sailing around Cape Cod and being a member of the wharf rats club anyone with knowledge of him or stories about the club, please write. Dad died Sept. 22, 2000 |

| Message | I am trying to locate information on Elisabeth White Frothingham who died in Tarrytown, NY Feb. 11, 1955, at the age of 85. She never married. A brief obit in the NYT describes her family as an old Brooklyn family. Her parents were Benjamin T. and Katherine W. Frothingham--her mother was the daughter of Alexander M. White of Pierrepont place, I believe in Brooklyn. She resided in Tarrytown for quite some time. The historical society there knows the name, but nothing about her.
