MessageLet's start some mutual admiration of the wonderful start Ross and his young generation have made to the Premier League campaign. Sitting third behind Sidmouth and North Devon is not something to dwell on at this stage of the season, however it is the highest league position Bradninch have ever achieved and but for one or two lapses of concentration in the first game, we would have been leading the pack for the first three weeks of the season. Much hard work and no doubt one or two disappointments to cope with ahead, but look forward to it, especially this Saturday against Sidmouth, what a captivating game of cricket to be involved in.

MessageHello All

It's been a while so I thought I'd drop a line to the Bradninch faithfull.

Firstly, let me extend my sympathy and best wishes to the Kent family. Les was a wonderful character who will long be remembered by those home and abroad. Les, I'm sure you'll be honoured by the club time and again in the years to come.

All the very best for the season ahead fellas, you have the team to really contest for the title...and with an Aussie in the side, a premiership isn't out of the question smilie

I look forward to tracking your progress, and I've no doubt the younger lads will ensure all is in order at Rococo's after a few big wins...

Hope you are all well!

Cheers!!!

Adrian

MessageI was just checking website for new season and found out about Les. Les was a great man and I felt shocked. My sincere thought are with his family and friends.

I have had few memorable moments with Les during one year I played for Bradninch in 2007. He was a nice person and one that would be missed forever.

MessageI'm going to miss you Les even though you were a Londoner and you were rubbish at mimicing my accent. Rest in Peace pal and be assured He always takes the very best and you were.

MessageJust got back home from the 'Farewell to our friend Les' at St Disen's Church - what a fantastic turn-out, standing room only and if they have pc's up in that special sporting arena in the sky, then Les will now know how much he meant - to so many.

MessageIt was a pleasure to have known you over the years Les, and I take away many memorable and, indeed, funny moments from the times we have spent together. They and you will always be remembered.

I hope your optimism and determination to succeed in the face of adversity is a legacy that lives on through the club.

Thoughts are with Bernadette and family who have done a wonderful job of caring for Les, not just recently, but over many years.
