MessageLast weekend’s resounding win against Sandford presents a top four finish for the Sunday XI, alongside the Saturday 1st & 2nd XI finishing fourth in their respective leagues. What a fantastic result. It has been a season of hard work and consolidation, with team spirit and pride of performance carrying us through in all forms of cricket. Well done to everyone and look forward to seeing you at Saturday’s Dinner & Dance awards evening.

May I take this opportunity to thank Steve for his brilliant press and website reporting and wish him a speedy recovery from his recent operation.

MessageHopefully we get a good turn out at this meeting tonight as next year will be very important and i'm sure others like myself have high hopes that we can add the required quality in order to challenge Sidmouth for the title next year. Heres to another succesful year at B.C.C where we can build on the many succeses of the last five.

MessageJust wanted to say well done to everyone at the club that has contributed to getting us where we are today. That goes for all those behind the scenes and those that have contributed in years gone by, including our overseas players, as well as the bunch of committed youngsters that have been able to grasp their chance at the highest level of Devon cricket, I include the more experienced players also for helping to galvanise our potential and produce the results we hoped for.

A special note of congratulations to the Captain and the Committee who have always believed that what we have done was always achievable. They have now been proved right.

Now is not a time for complacency though, and much hard work must continue to be done in future. At least now we know the levels that we need to aspire to, there will be no room for any relaxation.

Well done, play hard on Saturday to round off a memorable season and then party even harder, if that's possible!

MessageNo skirts or bare chests at Sidmouth lads, just plenty of action. Without Mr Hancock we would be on par and even the best have a bad day. There is no team in better form or better equipped to scupper that unbeaten record. Let's do it, pip Bovey in to 3rd place, then party.

MessageFellas

Great effort this season. I've been following your progress quite closely and it's been awesome to see everyone stepping up at different times, with contributions from 1 to 11.
Joel - it must have been interesting dealing with the Ashes fallout in the dressing room lately smilie
Anyway, well done on leading the team to a great result in the first year in the big league.
Seems like a trip to Rocokos could be in order for the boys, Chaps can wear his skirt too smilie
Again, well done to everyone and best of luck for the final day of the season

Have a pint for me at the end of season party (maybe a trip to Cornwall too...)

Cheers!

MessageI reckon some type of ladies clothing yes. Skirts would be a good idea. Will leave it to you to get the word around.
