| Message | Seems to me that other teams batters seem to be fairing better.......... Excuses have to stop somewhere. Or they could all move to Aus and play on some fast bouncy ones!  On a serious note though with a bit of application i think we'll do better and a win Saturday should give us the confidence to stay up..... come on lads lets be positive and give Torquay a Bradninch beating!!!! |

| Message | Conditions for batsmen this season are as difficult as last year - heavy midweek rain, damp Friday's and Saturday's - you have to feel for the batters. This past weekend was a lottery for ALL cricket XI's with, in many case, the toss determining the outcome of matches across the Division's - the battle is now on and it makes for an exciting run in to the end of the campaign - bring it on, come on lads.(That to BOTH Saturday XI's of course!). |

| Message | Great effort all round on Sat. Bowled tight lines and were patient. Took our catches well (special well done to Billy who was first class) Batted very well against a good attack on a tricky pitch (thought Dan and Ross were outstanding). Took on one of the best teams in Devon and came out on top. WE CAN DO THIS. |

What I saw of Saturday's performance was a desire to win and some very impressive bowling and catching. I had to leave before we batted, but suffice to say that we got where we needed to be with 4 wickets remaining. Of course, next Saturday's game is what we now need to concentrate on. We need to develop the consistency that has been improving and battle for every point. There will be times when everything does not go our way, but as long as we keep improving and believing, as well as fighting for every point, we will keep ourselves where we want to be and give ourselves further opportunities to develop. Well done on Saturday boys, next Saturday is now the most important game though, so keep battling all the way. |
