MessageHi guys,

Another great performance on Saturday. Only 8 points adrift now, with the best 3 sides all played against. Look forward to being back in a couple weeks and joining in with the promotion push which is now a reality. Especially if we can get Ross fit for the remainder of the season!

Good luck in the next couple weeks.

Chaps.

MessageGreat win on the weekend lads. Always nice to beat Sidmouth. It would be even better if you beat Budleigh this weekend. Let Mr Dawson know I say hello from Australia and how I wish I could replicate my innings from last year for him. All the best for this weekend. King Keith

MessageJust a quick note to say a huge thank you to everyone that made it to by 80 Not Out* party last night, I hope you all enjoyed it, I certainly did.

I was taken aback both at the turnout and the wonderful atmosphere that was created at a place where I have spent so many happy times over many years.

Thanks also, in a big way, to Paul Nott, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything happened exactly as it should and the rest of the committee who have supported the event wholeheartedly in various ways.

There were people there from each of the three decades that I have played for the club and all enjoyed themselves together - at least that's how it looked to me.

I'd also like to thank those that came to support the club, the ones I met joined in with everyone else to enjoy the fun.

A huge thank you to all that helped make it a day for me to remember, thank you for the memories and here's to the next celebration at Bradninch Cricket Club - The perfect venue to host a party!

The memories will soon be available as photos on the website I set up at https://sites.google.com/site/bradninchcc/photo-gallery.

MessageBails Celebrates 80 Not Out*

Since Bails joined the club as a fresh faced 21 year old in 1982, little did he realise that he would be celebrating his 50th birthday and the start of his 30th season in club colours at the Cricket Club in 2011, on Saturday 19th March at 7:45pm.

He would be so pleased if you would join him to enjoy stories and memories of years gone by, but also to celebrate the achievements of the club over those years in finally attaining their coveted Premier League status.

This season will see us playing in the Devon League Premier Division at First XI level and in the 'A' Division at Second XI level. Next season we would love to be able to celebrate both teams playing at Premier Division level.

To celebrate, Bails hopes that as many people who have contributed to the club in those years, in whatever way, will come along and join him. There have been many players that have passed through the changing rooms of Bradninch alongside Bails, but also there have been many off field supporters and helpers who have been significant in the journey of Simon Bailey. Please come along, I would be so honoured to see you.

Please feel welcome to join us also if you have an interest in supporting the cricket club in general, especially those of you who live locally, we would all love to see you.

MessageJust wanted to say how sad to hear of the death of Phil Blackmore ( south Devon cc ).
He was not a close friend of mine but one I have played against for many years and really enjoyed some great tussles in the middle.
What a waste at such a young age.
RIP Phil
