MessageWhile I never had the pleasure of meeting Shawn, I can see, and have seen, his influence in the fighters he has trained. The MMA World has lost another great icon. Hopefully, he and the late, great, Charles "Mask" Lewis are somewhere chatting about how far MMA has come and just how much further it can still go. My condolences go out to the Tompkins and Stout families, as well as their extended families.

MessageShawn was one of the true good guys. He always made me feel a part of whatever was happening. Those K-1 Vegas Tryout days were great and of course we will miss Shawn at the Ring of Fire. My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and family. And to Mark, Chris, Sam, Guns, John Alessio and the rest of Team Tompkins, please keep Team Tompkins alive. Thanks Shawn.
