| Message | Dear Rev. Jimmy Snow,
I visit your web site quite often. I am lost without your father, Mr. Hank and am always searching for new information on him. I read his book over and over; it is an unforgetable story.
There is something special about Hank Snow that just holds me like a spell. I dreamed when I was young that I could get to talk to him. Unfortunately that never happened. I did see him perform in Montreal in July 1973. An experience I will not soon forget. I made my way into the corridoor to see him emerge from his dressing room at the Paul Sauvé Arena in East End Montreal. WOW, he emerges with this beautiful white, rhinestoned suit and his Martin Guitar held accross his chest. I was alone, I called his name and he looked over at me and said Howdy!! I did get to speak to Jimmie Widener that evening.
I have a copy of the show which appeard on CNN following your father's death in 1990, titled " The Story Of Country" It is so special to me. I play it often and have other people come to my home for viewing. Is there a video of the funeral on December 20t? I corresponded with Mr. Arthur Irving and he informed me that he went to Hank's funeral.
I have a collection of Hank's songs and music. I believe I have over 1000 songs on CD, LP, Tapes etc. In that video produced after your father died, I get to see your mother and hear her voice. What a beautiful lady. She seemed so kind and so pure.
God bless you,
