MessageDear Jimmie,
Since today is February 6th, I want to wish you a very Happy 75th Birthday and many, many more! You and I were born in the same year (1936) and my birthday is September 17th! As a flashback, I'm the one who saw you, your dad and Elvis in person in Abilene, Texas, in 1955! You and your dad performed a magnificent show (your dad is my favorite country artist) but I was never a real fan of Elvis. Charlene Arthur was on the show as well. My how the years go by all too quickly. May God bless you and your family.

MessageDear Mr. Snow,

I know know about your father's German Shepard dog, Pal. Well, my grandfather Herb Ellis from Bathurst NB owned Pal and one day Hank came by "Pa's" farm and bought him. I think he was actually my Aunt Louise's dog, and he was bad tempered. However, Hank showed no fear of him, and Pal took to Hank right away. I am guessing that this happened in the 1930's. He (Hank) wrote about Pal in the biography book he wrote and he mentioned the farmer who sold the dog to him although not by name. The book has a picture of Pal, I think.

Like your father, I have spent the vast majority of my adult life in the US, but I did grow up in Janeville NB, next door to the farm that Hank visited and where he purchased Pal.

MessageBrother Snow, I have to say that I used to laugh at the "infamous" clip of you denouncing rock and roll, and I will always love r and r, c and w, etc. But your life is an inspiration, as well.

And, of course, I love your pop's music. May the forgiveness and love that is Jesus Christ be with you and your family in this new year.

And keep on preaching the word, always.

MessageHi Dennis,

I don't have an email address for you, but I hope that you receive this note.
Thank you for all the nice things you had to say in regard to my dads music.
I've been everywhere was written by an Australian, using cities from that country. Dad took the song, and rewrote it, using America cities. I did not know this myself until this week when I heard an interview that was done with him. He said by re-writing the song he was able to commit the words to memory.

Be Blessed,

Jimmie Snow

MessageDear Jimmie Rogers Snow,

I have been listening to your Father since I was just a kid, in Western New York. Your Father and I were both born on May 9th. He was born in 1914, and I was born 1941.

My Dad and Mother had 15 children, Nine (9)of us Waldrons' served in the U.S. NAVY. Most of us grew up loving country music.

I know that your Dad's music was a comfort to a lot of us in the 40's 50s and 60's and still is. I listen to Your Dad's music a lot of the time. Of course I listen to other artists from that era also. I love to hear the original Chuckwagon Gang, your namesake (Jimmie Rodgers) etc.

How long did your Dad have to practice the "I've Been Everywhere" song prior to having it recorded?

Best Regards, and God Bless You

Dennis B. Waldron

MessageBrother Snow, I'm so glad to hear you are doing so well! I was one of the hippies in your congregation in the early 70's. You and Belmont Church were the only two in Nashville that would let us in. Your level of fame does not match the extraordinary level of your accomplishments--surely God's way of protecting you from pride that could lower your position in Eternity. Millions of souls will greet and thank you in Heaven for bringing them into salvation and the knowledge of Christ. My sister and mother, who both died young, will be among them. I don't know if you realize it, but your balanced, rich, and unpolluted teaching of the Bible set a foundation under me and others that has protected us from falling into the many false teachings that our American culture has produced. In more than 40 years as a Christian, I've not heard a Bible teacher match your talent and wisdom. And I've not seen a Revival such as the one God performed through you among country music singers. Kris Kristofferson, Larry Gatlin, Johnny Cash, Connie Smith and so many came to Christ in your church, you had to knock out a wall. And, I hope you put the "Gospel Road" DVD on your website. Please get on Facebook so more can communicate with you. Brother Snow, I cannot thank you enough for your being such an anointed instrument to impart Eternal Life in me and my family and such a love for and knowledge of Jesus and His Word. Your reward in Eternity will be enormous. Bless you. Becky Clark Carter of Nashville

It has been many years since our shows in Fla. It is so nice hearing from you. My email address is

MessageI often think of the time when you was backup singer for Elvis. You were at our house (Bill& Ginny Viehman). Elvis learned to ski then. He went into town to get a life jacket first. I always loved it when we had you singers at the house. Fish fry, swimming, skiing, fishing and just relazing for all of you. That was in Winter Garden, Florida on Lake Butler
