MessageHi Regina,

I just watched American Violet last night and I'm still disturbed and affected by what happened to you. Thanks for your courageous spirit! I'm so sorry that we as a people have not evolved passed the hatred. I pray that in the last 10 years there has been a change and an awakening for civil rights of all people.

Thank you for fighting for your civil rights and the rights of not just the other 14 people but for us all!

Be well, nourished and blessed Regina! Lou Ann

MessageHi just finished watching your film. If not for my husband who was just browsing on the net we would not have come across it.

I am quite shocked that this film is not out there and many people are not made aware of it.

I am not surpise at all, after all America is anti friendly to the black population. It is so sad that you went through soo much misery.

The sad thing is that such thing will still contiune to happen in that country. I for one am happy that i am in the UK, as such rubbish does not exist in this country.

God bless you and your family

MessageI had the privilege of watching your story while deployed. I must say you made me proud to be an African-American female and although the task you took on was daunting, you made a stand for our community. For that I'd like to say thank you

MessageI just moved to the Brazos Valley area and it has not changed a bit. I have been told about Hearne and when I saw this move I Googled Melody, Texas. I wanted to know more so I kept digging. You are courageous. I was took a plea bargain and now I am dealing with the after taste. Each year it gets a little better. You keep your head up as your story gives those without hope a fighting chance.

Take care of those beautiful babies smilie
