MessageJust want to let you and Andy know (we went to h.s. together) that I for some reason or another checked your blog today to see the disheartening news. My thougths and prayers are with you and your family during this extremely difficult time, I can't imagine to understand the grief that you all are feeling. Please know taht your story is incredible and there are many unknowns behind you that are supporting your family silently while you grieve. I can only hope that these silent partners assist you during this difficult time.

Yes, it is so difficult to "realize" how disabled our SMA kids are. I had a similar moment when looking at Addie in the kidkart when she was about 9 months old. But it is a wonderful thing that you have learned to see past it and through it. Isn't this the beauty of the parent-child bond? To "see" your amazing child and all he can do (I know he colors..I have seen his work!); not the things that he lacks.

Hope you continue to take advantage of this great walking weather.
