Hi Heather, We have never met, but Jimmy Marinelli was selling tickets to your fundraiser tomorrow. My husband and I may be going if we can find a babysitter and if we can't we would love to send you a donation. I am touched by your story of "Holland" and can relate. Our first son, now 3, spent alot of time at Children's and I always envied women who just got to take their newborns home right from the hospital. Through exploratory surgery they were able to find out what was wrong with our son and that eventually he would grow out of his issues. His struggles tought us alot about ourselves as parents and a family. I can relate to your Holland story. Please know that although we have never met, I am touched by your sons story and will keep your family in our prayers. These little kids of ours have no idea the impact they have on the world...for the better! We are lucky to love them and be blessed by them. I wish your family all the best and I hope your fundraiser is a huge success. You deserve it!!

Hi Heather, First of all, I want to say is how beautiful your family is. I saw your Christmas card at Laura's and your family is picture perfect. Adyn and Owen are the cutest. I am so amazed with your strength and your ambition for a fight for SMA. I know everyday occurrences that people take for granted on a regular basis are such challenges to you and your husband. With the research and technology that has be developed through the help of people like you, caring for Owen may be much easier now and in the future. I admire everything you do for Owen and for the cure. Unfortunately I will be unable to attend on Thursday but I would like to send you something. If you can Facebook me your address, that would be great. Good luck on Thursday and God bless you and your family.

Hi Heather!
I heard about Owen through a couple of friends. What a beautiful family you have. Your boys are very fortunate to have such a great Mom & Dad. After viewing the picture's on your sight I thought you looked familiar. I showed my husband Michael your picture. You grew up across the street from him.... the Hughes family. Very small world. We are looking forward to attending the fundraiser on Thursday night. I wish you and your family the best!

Hey Heather my name is Sherry, I work with Andy at the station. I am one of the dispatchers, I was just catching up on Owen like I often do, and read that you were interested in who looks in on your page. I must tell you I check in at least once a week and love to read all your postings, (and Andy's). You guys are great parents, and do an amazing job with your boys =) I also read Andy's posting (I think it was his) about the fundraiser and setting things up, if you need any help at all I would be more than willing. Andy can find me at the station or my phone number is in the computer. Again you guys are amazing and I love checking in on your blog. I hope you all enjoy the day tomorrow it is going to be beautiful. Sherry

Just saw your post about who's reading your blog... I learned about Owen through Dave F's Facebook page [he and I went to high school together]. I also have a son with special needs so needless to say, I am always interested in hearing about and supporting other families who face challenges.
Ironically, my son also gets services through KDC and I think we share the same physical therapist, Sue. We also go to Dr. Simmons and yes, she is wonderful. She has saved my son's life twice (!) so far by being super intuitive and smart when it comes to making major decisions. We love her!
So that's us and I will be following Owen's story and praying for strength and health for all of you.
