MessageYour book "Show me how to Machine Quilt" is what gave me the courage to "just do it" and machine quilt. In contrast to all the machine quilting Bibles, your book showed "messy", free-form quilting that I felt like I could actually do without years of practice. Your examples showed just how great free-form quilting can look so I quit fretting about my less-than-perfect quilting.

Your book is my favorite of all the books I got when I first started learning how to free-motion machine quilt.

MessageDear Ken,

A copy of your e-mail was forwarded on to me this morning. I wanted to let you and your sister know how sweet your mom was to me. I took one of her machine quilting classes and really could never get the hang of it. So your mother very lovingly agreed to "fix" my quilt and what a wonderful job she did! It hangs very proudly in the entryway of my home. She also quilted a Halloween quilt of mine for my older daughter that is absolutely spectacular!!!!! As a matter of fact, my daughter takes it with her wherever she goes...including college! I will keep your mom and your family in my thoughts and prayers and I wish you the best of luck selling all of her treasurs.

Fondly,
Jennifer Lucot

MessageI met Kathy in Sisters, Oregon several years ago where she was teaching. So sad to hear of the diagnosis. Her quilting and teaching was very inspiring. She contributed so much to this field.
