| Message | I go way back: Boot - Bainbridge (1955) Uss Grand Canyon AD28 2nd div, transferred to radio gang after 3 months on the deck... radio messenger 3 months (learned the code and some typing) then RMA school Norfolk. Back to AD28 (RM3, then on the beach to Navcomsta Boston (RM2) Extended 1 year then decided to get out (1960) Often thought that I made a mistake in not shipping over! |
