| Message | Bootcamp and RM "A" school in San Diego, California-1989 Stationed remaining four years in Norfolk,Va. Stationed on the USS Preble DDG-46 till it was decommissioned Stationed on the USS Austin LPD-4 Honorable Discharge 1993. Probably the best family I ever had. Memories forever embedded for those brief four years. |

| Message | Joined USN july 1957. Graduated RM"A" school in San Diego early 1958. Stationed abord USS Bennington CVA 20 for approximately two and one hald yerars..Transfered to COMFAIRWING 14 North Island mid 1960 and discharged Janurary 1961. |

| Message | Graduated RM "A" School 1970. Stationed for 4 years at NAVCOMMSTA Londonderry, Northern Ireland. Got out in 1973, used the old GI Bill to get my Masters degree. Re-entered the service in 1976 and served over 2 years USS Mount Whitney out of Norfolk VA. Cross-rated to CTA and left the service in 1990 (did not retire)as a CTA1. Mostly remember my first tour as being the most memorable as far as location and the guys I worked with were superb. |

| Message | Enlisted Aug 1963. "A" School following boot camp. to Adak Alaska for 11 months then TTY repair "C" school before boarding USS Wedderburn. Brief stint in Texas then to USS America. Was discharged just before Med cruise in 1966. |

| Message | Went to radio school from March 1955 to Sept 1955 class 19 Bainbridge Md. I was there when a first class instructor won a brand new Mercury then ended up dating the hottest wave in school. I bet she went on to make Captain. I don't know how i passed because i could not copy 22wpm and was lucky they sent me to west coast where NPG was only 18WPM. At that speed i was a big man and went on to make RM1 actually in 4 years. To be honest the only way i got into radio school was because they were taking anyway at that time as there was only 23 guys in our class. But i turned out fine, better then expected because i had good help aboard ship. It was good years and young years that dwell in my memory. |

| Message | RMA school Bainbridge 3/55 until 9/55 then aboard USS Locator. I was in class 19 of 1955 a very small class and have no idea where they might be. Really enjoyed being a radioman it was the ultimate experience, at least for 4 years. |
