My 14 year old Tibetan Terrier (Kaleb) has advanced lymphoma. After several exams, chemo was rule out and we have him on prednisone. born with only one eye, the cancer has affected the other which also has a cataract, so he can only see a bit of light. He does find his way around. He's been such a good little guy, a total joy, his whole life. It's hard to imagine he'll be gone in a couple months. We just want him to be as comfortable as possible. Please pray for him, along with me and my husband as it has brought great sadness, but we are grateful for the years we had him. Thank you.

This is the second occurrence for Sam. The first was his tail, last year, now his front paw. We fear this will keep on happening. He is a brave hearted loving being whom I (Robin, Ilana's mom) will be devastated to kiss goodbye. Sam once saved my life, literally, from a gunman. There are no words to express the love of all of us for all of our beloved companions. Thank you

Please Pray for our family member, "Roary", aka "Pookey", 14yrs, who went in for what we thought was a routine fatty tumor removal and dental cleaning a few weeks ago. Once his Dr cut into him she quickly suspected hemangiosarcoma due to the appearance and nature of the tumor under his left arm pit, a histopathology confirmed it. Although he he doing remarkably better even just having that nasty growth removed, we still fear what is coming. He is the most loving and the most laid back, goober of a dog. Everyone who meets him, loves him. He has a canine brother, who he raised from a 4 month old puppy (and some feline brothers/sisters) who will also miss him dearly. My Prayer is that, since I know no one lives forever, that I know when he is ready to go to that Rainbow Bridge, before he suffers, but after I am ready to say goodbye! I love you Pookey!

Please pray for my 12 year old dog Tucker. He's very sick with lymphosarcoma which triggered an auto-immune disease which is keeping his body from making plateletts. He's been my best friend and constant companion for so long and this is especially hard as I am also undergoing treatment for breast cancer. All I want is for him to come home for a while so i can let him know how much he has and always will meant to me and that I will love him forever.

Please, please, please pray for Michael J. O'Reilly (Mikey). Pray that he does not suffer. Please pray that I can take good care of him. He's been ALL I've had for for the last 10 years. He's been the only reason I kept going through a lot of really hard times.
I can't afford chemo therapy for him. I was laid-off from my job in July. I don't know how much time we have left together. I can't imagine life without him. I know I need to be here for him right now. I feel like I just can't stand it.
Thank you so very much. Your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated. God bless you.

My sweet rescue dog Chloe was diagnosed with tubular adenocarcinoma on 9-13-08. After noticing three growths appear on her chest, the vet removed the masses. One is malignant, although the lymph node next to it was clear. A chest x-ray was taken and showed a suspicious "spot" in her lungs. While the vet says he's not ready to call the "spot" cancer- I've been reading that the cancer will eventually spread to the lungs with time. I was told my choice is quality over quantity of life and to consider chemotherapy, or managing her health/happiness while nature lets cancer take its course. This is the devasting news as she my little baby and we have only had her for five years. Since she is adopted, we estimate her age to be between 10-12 years. Chloe doesn't know she has cancer and still acts like a puppy. Please send me any diets/supplements you think a dog with this type of cancer should take so I can keep her healthy as long as possible.

My dog Ihla was recently diagnosed with a neurofibrosarcoma in her left front leg. Because she has such small legs they knew they would never be able to get all of the tumor when they did surgery. We have been to the U of M for a consult, chest xrays, leg xray and lymph node biopsy. Thankfully the cancer has not spread anywhere else at this point. Unfortunately she will have to have her leg amputated as I can not afford radiation therapy. She has her surgery at the U of M on the 30th. If you saw her today you would never know she is sick. She is 9 years old but acts like a puppy leaping over furniture and chasing her favorite cat around the house. I am hoping that she will adjust well on 3 legs and wont be in a lot of pain following surgery.

My beloved Booda was diagnosed on 9-9-08 with Lymphoma. I surrendered Booda and his brother Boomer in 2005 due to my illness. They were adopted together-no easy thing adopting two Newfies at the same time! Their mommy and daddy have graciously allowed me to continue to be a part of their lives through phone calls, emails, pictures and letters. Thankfully they are proceeding with chemo for 17 weeks. I have watched this boy go from a baby, grow up to be a big, beautiful, crazy, funny kid. I am completely devasted, but I feel worse for his mommy and daddy and big brother Boomer. They love this guy more than anything!! I could not have picked a better, more loving mom and dad myself. Knowing that the boys have such a great mom and dad is such a blessing. I am extremely grateful to them for all that they are doing to help their boy continue life beyond his 6 years. Please pray for him to combat this evil and live a long and happily spoiled rotten life!! May God Bless him and his brother Boomer, his mom and dad and all of his "relatives". May God Bless each and every soul touched by this horrible disease and give them the strength they need to fight it down. May God keep you safe and protect you always. I love you Booda Bear. To his mom and dad, thank you for taking such loving care of your boys. They are SO lucky to have you!! God Bless you for what you are doing for Booda. Those boys hit the jackpot the day you made them yours!! THANK YOU Love, Karen and Bandit
