Type of Cancerosteosarcoma
MessagePlease pray for my Akita, Winnie. She turned 13 last month; shortly after her birthday, I found a small growth on her shoulder that turned out to be cancerous. We initially thought she had a soft tissue sarcoma, and she had surgery 12 days ago to remove it. Unfortunately, the biopsy results indicated that it was osteosarcoma. My husband and I are still reeling from the news, as we've been told the prognosis for OS is not good. I've had Winnie since she was 3 months old and can't imagine life without her. But she is a fighter, and I know she will stay with us as long as she's able, and we'll do everything we can to help her. Thank you so much for your prayers, and I will keep all of your dogs in my prayers, too.

Type of CancerLymphoma
MessageOur dog was diagnosed with lymphoma yesterday. We haven't decided what kind of treatment to use yet, but we will do what ever it takes to save him. Lamar is an amazing dog, even for a Rott, we take him every where with us and people love him. We don't have any children so Lamar is our baby, and he knows it. I can't bare the thought of him not being there to do his little wiggle dance when I get home in the evnings. We are hoping he is a lucky dog who will be cured. Thank you for keeping him in your prayers.

Type of Cancerbladder cancer
MessageI have had my dog Dolly since i was 8 years old, she is now 11. Just this past year she has had a problem urinating, so we topok her to the vet and she gave us some antibiotics thinking it was a urinary infection. A month later it came back and we took her back..After Dolly spent the weekend at the vet under close watch, we spent almost a 1,000 dollars trying to figure out what is wrong.. After all the tests were done they found that she had bladder cancer. Dolly has been my best friend for over 11 years!!I love her soo much and it makes me sad to know this is the way she is going to go.She is on muscle relaxers and cancer medicines but the vet. says when she is no longer able to urinate that is when we have to let her go...It makes me soo sad to even think about it. she is my first dog and she is so intelligent. What hurts the most is the fact that she seems perfectly fine on the outside..but if we wouldnt have had the tests done on her we would have never known..and her bladder may have exploded..I pray that Dolly doesn't have any pain and to let her know i love her with all my heart and I hope she had a wonderfull life, I love you girl ..- mommy

MessageSammie is in the hospital for the 2nd night tonight - he's apparently coming out of remission from lymphoma but has some weird skin lesions and an enlarged spleen, fever, etc. They started him on chemo asap and antibiotics, steroids, etc. he hadn't been eating. He is my angel and I know he has more time. Please keep him in your prayers along with his sister Annie who is doing well post surgery/rad. for sarcoma, and his brother Lobo, and sister Gracie. My kids are my life. Thank you!

Type of CancerLymphoblastic Leukemia
MessageOur beloved eight year old puppy boy Jake was diagnoaed on April 28, 2008 with this cancer and given four months. We immediately got him in to the oncologist and he has since been on chemo paired with enormous amounts of TLC. He has recently suffered a "blastic crisis" and the course of treatment is going to be changed today. We have received a miracle in having him a month longer than first though and pray that he will over come to be with us many more years.
Thanks for your prayers.

Type of CancerLymphoma
MessageMy 3.5 year old furbaby, Molly was diagnosed with Stage IVb Lymphoma two weeks ago. I'd noticed some lethargy and panting and then one morning she had a hemorrhage on her blue iris. University of Tennessee Veterinary Medicine is overseeing her treatment as we try the UWM protocol of chemo. She's been a real trooper and seems to be responding well so far. She's my best friend and my inspiration. :)
