Messageplease say a prayer in memory of my best friend cherokee. he had lost his battle with cancer on 7/7/08. his birthday would have been on 10/3/08. it was a very sad day. i miss my cherokee so much. he was a fighter. he did not want to go. he can not be replaced. it saddens me to see all the doggies that are fighting this horrible disease. i pray for all of you. my cherokee will watch over all of your beloved friends. keep praying and give lots of love and hugs to your doggies!

MessageWe love our sweet boy so very much, at this time as we do comfort care for him at home I am so glad I am a nurse, but I wish I could do more. Our hearts break with each day as he seems to slow down a little more, but then he surprises us with bursts of energy and demands for treats and car rides. Please pray that he does not suffer and he knows he can tell us when it is time, we will listen and love him until then and forever.

MessageIt has been a very long afternoon. As I look back on these last few hours I realized you are never prepared for those phone calls that concern your loved ones. For our family to it was concerning our 5 year old Border Collie Sam. Sam has not just been our pet he has been the glue for our family through some very difficult times. It so hard to believe this dog who can't sit still for more than 30 seconds at time is sick. And me a trained medical professional missed getting him into the vet sooner.
We meet with vet next to go over Sam's treatment plan and how agressive we need to be in his treatment. For now we love on him and his sister and show them how they mean to us.

MessageHe is our baby. Almost nine and been having seizures for about 6 months. Our vet thought he was just epileptic. Had him on meds for that. Started declining very quickly the last month. Just took him to the neurologist today and they are keeping him for test/mri/ct/xrays. He is our first baby and the best dog we could ever ask for. Always happy, always listens, loves everyone.

MessageOur wonderful dog Suni is three months in remission after 16 weeks of chemo treatment for lymphoma. She is the bravest and strongest dog I know! Suni is so loving to everyone in our family and she is my shadow, always a step behind me. Today we noticed her lymphnodes are slightly enlarged and tomorrow is our appointment at the University. Please pray for Suni that the cancer has not returned so soon after her lengthy treatment. Please also pray to give us the strength to deal with what new lies ahead of us and the knowledge to make the right choices for Suni. Suni Bear is so full of life and is the sunshine in our day, we don't think she is ready to leave us. Please pray for Suni.

MessagePlease pray for HENNA. Her leg was amputated on 6/11/08 and she has done GREAT!I got her x-rayed yesterday and the (cute little)stump that was left - well - more cancer.
I am opting for getting the rest of the ugly stuff out - but only prayers will give me the right answer.

HE ABDOMEN IS EXTREMLY LARGE AND TIGHT, SHE IS NOT IN ANY PAIN, EATS, DRINKS & PLAYS NORMALLY.ONE VET WANTED TO PUT HER TO SLEEP IMMEDIATELY, THE OTHER VET SAID TO LOVE HER AND LET HER LIVE OUT WHAT TIME SHE HAS WITH US, SHE ISN'T ON ANY PAIN MED EITHE. BAILEY REALLY COULD USE ALOT OF PRAYERS, SHE IS THE MOST WONDERFUL, SWEET DOG ANYONE COULD ASK FOR. PLEASE PRAY FOR HER, I KNOW THAT GOD LISTENS AND MIRACLES HAPPEN. THANK YOU ALL. ANN
