| Message | Please say a prayer for our beloved 6 year old Schnauzer Benny ( Ben-Paws.) In June 2006 when he was not quite 4 I noticed a small lump on his right side. We immediately took him to the vet and he said not to worry. Our 2 other schnauzers had many "benign" lumps so we didn't worry.By November 2006 I noticed the lump had grown significantly and took Benny back for a checkup. Still NOTHING WAS DONE...no biopsy, NOTHING. Finally a year later in November 2007 the vet checked the lump, biopsied it and next day booked Benny for surgery.The pathology Report came back as a STAGE 2 tumor. We gave him a diet rich in omega6 and omega 3, flaxseed oil, salmon, steamed broccoli and other fresh vegetables, filtered water etc.He got a clean bill of health this past June, but I never stopped checking his side daily. Last week I fond two small lumps and two days ago the vet said the cancer is BACK!We are certain he would be "cancer free" if the original lump had been removed when first seen. We had NEVER heard of MAST CELL TUMORS! Too many tears are being shed. Surgery is not an option and we are treating him with herbs and great diet filled with more fresh vegetables and vitamins and ESSIAC TEA! He is healthy right now and full of energy. He is our HEART. Please pray for him.We will never own another puppy because of our ages, 65 and 69. Thank You, Joanne |

| Message | Our darling Merry, pulled from a kill shelter almost 2 years ago, and now almost 11-12 years old, had an U/S today that shows a mass at least 6x9cm on the aorta, but no proliferation yet. Could be Chemodectoma, Hemangio (though not likely), Lymphoma...we have an appt. with cardiologist on 9.25, please pray that hers is a slow growing and more "benign" type. Please pray that we make all the right decisions for her, and that she does not suffer. many thanks. |
