| Message | My beloved dog Briggs was diagnosed with Lymphoma July 24th, 2008 and we immediately began chemo treatments. He did VERY well for the first couple months with little to no side effects, and basically returned to normal pre-cancer energy levels and behavior. By mid October he was no longer in remission and we were struggling to find a drug treatment that would work on his particularly resistant strain of cancer. He pushed on and went through good days and weeks, and bad times when finally at the end of December the bad days were clearly outweighing the good. He was a trooper and never appeared to be in any real pain. We just kept saying he doesn't appear to be having fun anymore. He made it through the holidays, and even to his 7th birthday which was January 4th. One day after his birthday, with the blood tests indicating things would only get worse, I made the toughest decision of my life and had to let him go. He was just too weak, and tired of fighting this awful disease that robbed us of many more years together. He will always be in my heart, that one special pet that can never be forgotten or replaced. Please join me in praying for not just a treatment, but a cure for lymphoma, and all cancers that are taking our beloved four legged family members way too soon. |

| Message | I am waiting to hear if my dog has cancer in the chest (lymph nodes) after some x-rays that were taken this past weekend. There is a possibility that it may also be an incfection or the x-rays came out wrong when they were taking them due to restraining since he was really scared. I am praying one of those alternatives is the case... Please pray that God will heal him if there is anything there. I love my dog dearly and have been very sad to hear this news... I should be getting the results within the next week and will keep everyone posted! Blessings, Michelle |

| Message | I requested prayer for my sweet Wilbur Jan 9th. Our vet gave him 2 weeks to 1 month. He died yesterday. He was so sweet during this awful time. He was in so much pain. He stopped eating and it had spread really fast. We had him put down as we felt it was time. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do. I had a wonderful day with him before we took him in. He cried and I cried and it was heartbreaking to do. After he passed, it was so peaceful to see him out of pain. But but now I keep questioning if our decision ...was the right time. The vet said he was in a lot of pain and his immune system was shutting down. When he was crying @ the vet's, it just killed me. Please pray for my husband & I to have peace during our grieving time. I pray Wilbur will come & vist me in my dreams as my other animals have done in the past after they died. Thank you so much! |

She has been given drugs to try and help fight the cancer but it is said that she has a slim chance to ever be cured, only relieved of pain and her length of life increased. I believe she is a fighter and is not ready to go. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. |

| Message | Darwin is a 7 yr old Doberman and was diagnosed Nov. 28, 2008 with osterosarcoma. She had her front limb removed on Dec.9, 2008. The lungs and lymph nodes showed no signs of cancer when checked prior to and right after her amputation. She is undergoing chemotherapy with carboplatin and is tolerating it fairly well. She has had 2 chemo sessions so far and has 2 more to go. We hope and pray that Darwin has more time with us as she is our first baby. Please pray for her and all the other dogs fighting this terrible disease. |
