| Message | I put my girl Bessie in the prayer chain back on Dec. 1, 2008, she was diagnosed with mammary cancer that day, today we had to put her to sleep at 7:30 a.m. it spread ferociously through her body and we could not see her suffer. May the lord be with her and with everyone who has to experience thi kind of a lose. I never believed it would take her, it did, and very quickly. To all the humans writing in this journal,prayer chain, please start taking video of your pets, my only wish is i had more dedicated to just her... I will miss her and love her forever and ever. | Message | Teala is a ten year old female German Shephard who seemed in excellent health. Yesterday I found two large masses in her neck. The vet confirmed lyphoma this morning and found more masses. I'm starting her on Pred and will try alternative diets to help her. Because of her age, I don't want to put her through surgery or chemo. Please put Teala in your thoughts and prayers. She is an amazing dog and I can't bear the thought of losing her. |

| Message | Pancy Wancy is a proud mut. She was a wonderer from bunker to bunker when we found her 2 years ago. Here in Albania most of the wealth of our country went toward defense against an invasion from the north for years and many animals have since taken shelter in turrets that line the landscape. For the first few months she would bite us from time to time, but has transformed into an integral part of our family. About 4 weeks ago we found a large lump on her neck and she has started acting strangely. We think its cancer but we don't have access to Vetinarians here. What are some of the basic ways to diagnose if it is cancer? We'll do anything to save her if we can. Thank you for putting this site up. |

| Message | Jade just turned eight last week.On January 26 we had to take her to Avets for emergency care. A hunting wound had bothered her for months, we thought was now causing her heart to race and at times she had very rapid breathing.Just weeks before this a piece of bark one inch and a half long was pulled from her belly. No money in the world could have prepared us for what we were about to hear. Jade's right chest cavity was full of a huge mass, pressing everything to the left. She had blood work and x-rays, but further testing was much above what we could afford. So we know she has a huge mass, that was all but confermed cancer. We don't know the type or how fast it will grow, but we do know it's putting pressure on her heart and lungs. It has everything pushed aside. I am praying for a little more quality time with her before we have to put her down. She was a gift from my Grandfather who has been gone for almost five years now. I really wish I did not have to lose her so soon. On December 24, 2008, we lost our cat of almost sixteen years to diabetes. Our heart are still broke from losing 'Tony.' Now we have to give Jade up so soon. Please pray for her. Thank You, Phil |

| Message | Please pray for Raz, my beloved pet. I have no children and am a widow. He is my best friend and companion. He has been coughing for about 6 months. He has been misdiagnosed twice and placed on medicine for his heart. It is not his heart. He has a tumor in his lung that is pressing on the trachea. He is 11 years old. I cannot afford an operation which would probably kill him anyway. I will be trying some holistic measures. Thanks for praying. I will pray for others also. Connie Whan and Raz |

| Message | Please say a prayer for our beloved Jed. Jed was rescued from a dog pound. He was abused and malnourished. We brought love and happiness to this little guy - the most gentle soul you can imagine. He was ever so grateful. Then just 2 weeks before Christmas of this year, he became paralyzed in his hind legs. We had him fitted for a wheelchair, and life came back to him. Then 3 weeks ago we noticed a growth on his gum and took him to have it removed. The vet did not think it was anything serious, but was very wrong. We were told that agressive surgery (removal of his jaw)and chemo would only buy him 6-9 months, and the cost was outrageous. Both the vet and we agreed that quality of life was more important. We are treating holistically, hoping that perhaps it might boost his immune system and buy him a little more time. Any prayers for this wonderful little guy who only recently found happiness in life would be so appreciated. |

| Message | Please pray for our Maggie. She underwent a splenectomy today and the vet believes the tumors were only in the spleen. Also pray that the tumors are benign so Maggie won't endure additional suffering from this dreaded cancer. God Bless You and your loving canine partners. |

| Message | We just found out that our baby is sick, and I am reading and doing anything in my power to make him fight this. His doctor said he has a month left, I am broken hearted, and helping him fight this battle of his life, and hoping everything I am doing will make his short time on this earth even better than it has been. |
