MessageI just found out my 10 year old baby has the most aggressive and uncurable forms of cancer. He could live another 20 days - 3 months with no chemo, but up to 6 months with chemo. I'm just torn as to what to do. I pray that I will make the right decision, so he can live the rest of his life happy and content. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you as well.

MessageWhen my husband and I started dating 7 years ago the doctors just told me I couldn't have children. My wonderful husband got me a puppy, Jasper, my heart. He has been our child for 7 years. In May I had to put my 10 year old boxer to sleep after a 2 year battle with Mast Cell Tumors all over her body. Five days later I found out I was expecting my first child. What a miracle. We had a traumatic pregnancy and had a healthy girl three weeks ago. Yesterday while rubbing my first child, my pups, neck I found his lymphnodes were swollen. I checked and all six palable nodes were swollen. We took him to the vet today and it is confirmed. My heart is breaking into a million pieces, and I am so grateful to have found this website so I know I am not alone.
Good luck to you all and I will say numerous prayers for you and your animals recovery.

Type of Cancermammary
MessageAll of you and your precious canine companions are in my prayers this evening. My Kia developed 3 mammary tumors 2 wks ago, I noticed when rubbing her beloved belly. She is 10, and is my precious precious little girl. I have lived with my family of wolfdogs for 15 years now. I lost her father and sister last July and Aug, age related for both, so very very heartbreaking. Now my "Boo" is sick, vet removed tumors and threw them away, without doing biopsy. I'm upset, he said because it was 3 tumors it's cancer. Well there are many types of mammary cancer and now I won't know which. She is not healing well and already has another soft mass by a nipple. She's going back to vet tomorrow for stitch removal, I am praying to our God she does not have invasive cancer and will have some more precious time. Oh, those of us kindred spirits walk a fine line with our beloved animals, whose time on earth with us is so finite. Godspeed to all. Shannon
