MessageMy mom just found out that her dog, Sam, has cancer. Sam is only about 9 years old and used to have so much energy and now, she isn't even interested in food anymore. Please keep her and my mom in your prayers as they go through this tough time together. My mom is really having a hard time and could use your warm thoughts.

I will also continue to read this prayer list and pray for any of you who are struggling. Dogs should never get cancer. They are such loyal and amazing creatures.

MessagePlease pray for my wonderful Jordie who is 17 and has osteo in her front left leg. I have opted to not put Jordie through amputation and chemo at her age. She has been the best friend and has lived a long life. She is still the smartest dog and I am struggling with saying goodbye to her but she is in great pain and I feel that doing chemo and amputation would be far to hard on her considering her age. Our family will miss her very much. God please take care of our Jordie.

She is having a hard time tolerating it and we are hoping that she makes it through this hurdle. We love her very much and can't stand the thought of her in any pain. MessagePlease pray for my sweet, adorable Joey. He is 11 and 1/2 and was just found to have lung masses. I have never loved a dog as much as him, he is my special boy. I have him on many meds and just hope and pray that he never has pain, that I know when it is "time" and he goes in peace. He has a brother Alex who will miss him like crazy, please pray for Alex also. May God take care of all our babies until we see them again.

MessageLearned one week ago Kona has a 10 cm mass at the location of her right kidney - they are not sure if it is next to or part of the kidney. Originally suspected hemangiosarcoma. Needle aspirate last Wednesday (2/25) revealed not hemangiosarcoma, likely renal cancer. She is 8-1/2 years old, history of pancreatitis and thrombocytopenia. Dr. (oncologist) of course if recommending surgery and chemotherapy. Even if the outrageous cost were not a factor, I don't know what I want to put her through it. Please keep her in your prayers - she is the sweetest, most loving dog I have ever known. Thank you!
