MessageMy baby boy Thor was diagnosed with cancer yesterday. I think God intended for us to have several animals during our lives which is why they don't live as long as we do. He is the most beautiful and intelligent best friend I've ever had and I will miss him. I pray to God for peace, acceptance and appreciation during his remaining days and please help us to provide for his every need.

MessageSo I feel I'm writing this more for myself while i cannot sleep, but I was shocked to see how many people was going through the same suffering as my family and I. My dog Casey, was diagnosed today with Lymphoma (early stages) and given 2-6 months. While I feel helpless and anger all the same time I just wanted everyone to know how blessed we are to have such a great retriever and companion for 9 years. While Im not giving up and was actually doing research on how to prolong his life I am with many others on this list, I would like to keep him in our thoughts and prayers and hope his life will be be extended beyond anyones belief with comfort, love, and happiness! MessageMy husband and I are so heartbroken, we couldn't even see to drive home from the vet. The vet was not very explicit but told us he is 90% sure that Duke has cancer, although he couldn't see it on the X-rays. We can't afford to take him to Cornell for expensive surgeries and treatments. I feel so helpless and selfish because this dog has shown more love and lolalty than my 2 grown children. I feel everything I do is wrong and feel this is my fault since we've waited a few months to go to the vet. It seems every time you go to the vet its $150 to $200. Oh, just say a prayer for our dog, I laid hands on him, but I feel so unworthy to bother the Lord. Thank you Joan and Ray

MessageMy Buffy was just diagnosed with lymphoma a few weeks ago (Feb 09). She began her chemo treatments last week, and so I have been watching her carefully. I am praying that this treatment will extend her life and that the quality of her life will remain good. I love her very much and am hoping she remains happy through all this.

MessageOur precious Jewel was diagnosed with lymphoma September '08. We tried chemo unfortunately she was in the small percentage and did not go into remission. She has done remarkably well until the last few days. These ugly tumors are growing again and she is struggling. We are heartbroken and know the time we dread is near. Today is her 8th birthday and our family will celebrate her life. What an amazing girl. We were so blessed to have her in our lives.
