MessageYesterday my fiance and I found out our 9 year old dog "Bart" has cancer. He collapsed Sunday unexpectedly and the vet thought it could have been "syncope." They did and EKG and chest xrays yesterday only to confirm 3 visible tumors. He has 1 tumor in his lung and 2 at the base of his heart. His lymph node in his neck is swollen also. We have chosen to do prednisone therapy. He lost his appetite 2 days ago so we are feeding him whatever he will eat. This morning he had an egg and cheese biscuit from Hardees :) Please pray that he does not suffer and that we can get through this. This will be the first dog that either of us has had to put to sleep. God Bless you all. Tonya

MessageToday was a very sad day for our family. We had to put our dog of 13 years down. It started as a diagnosis in August 2009 as Lyme Disease. He was on prednisone and antibiotics for the last few months. Over the last week he got worse. His legs swelled up twice the size and his breathing got heavy. He also showed signs of discomfort. We put him down today and it's so hard not having him here. The vet believes he had a very rare lung cancer that causes his bones to grow and was the reason he was so swollen. Please pray for our family as we loved him so much and are very sad not to have him with us now.

MessageMy sweet little beagle has just been diagnoses with cutaneous cancer and I know, although she is almost 14 now....it is going to be so hard to say goodbye. She has been my little companion, and I am not sure what I will do without her greeting me when I come home and being such a good dog for all these years. She has never been sick, so this is a shock for me. She is not suffering at this time, but I need prayers to help me decide when the best time will be to let her go. I am a Christian and do believe God will help me.

MessagePlease pray for my 8 year old boxer named Rocky. He's such a sweet guy and we just found out yesterday that the vet is 99% sure he has cancer. With out an MRI he is not able to to confirm just how large he thinks it is. Rocky is home with us and we are keeping him as comfy as possible. I'm praying we find some resources to possible be able to get him that MRI that is needed to then hopefully start treatment. With the economy being as bad as it is our income doesn't alow us to spend the $1200 for an MRI not to mention the treatment. If anyone has any suggestions or advice it is greatly welcomed. Pleae keep Rocky in your prayers.

MessageA week and a half ago, I noticed a swollen lymph node under our dog's arm. I took her to the vet and Lymphoma was thought to be the cause. Ashley, our dog, had a biopsy the next day. The lab results came in this morning. It is Lymphoma. I'll be taking her in for stitch removal this afternoon and to talk about treatment options. Now, I've got to tell our children. I just lost my mother to Lymphoma 7 months ago. This is very difficult because it brings back painful memories and also new grief about our dog. Please pray for Ashley and our family as we go through this difficult time. I know God is there and loves all of His creatures!

MessageWe were told yesterday that our 9 year old German Shepherd, Jett, has osteosarcoma. My husband has had her since she was a puppy and this has devastated us both, but especially him.

I am going to start her on the Essaic herbal tea formula. I have taken this formula myself for health problems and found it to be very beneficial. With God's grace, and eveyone's prayers, it may also help our dog.
