MessageOn 26 October, I discovered a lump in his throat, Dr. Joe removed it. The biopsy came back as lymph node cancer.

Hero is my best friend and companion for the past 10 years. He has traveled the world with me.

MessageOur 8 year old yellow lab, Riley was diagnosed with Lymphoma and Lymes on the same date, October 18, 2013. He has been on antibiotics for a month and symptoms have gotten worse and we just started the prednisone yesterday. He is our gentle giant and my 2 daughters are really struggling with the fact that his life will be shortened to cancer...it just stinks. Thanks for the prayers!

MessageNunz was getting very weak and virtually stopped being able to go up the stairs (and we have a lot of them) or jumping into the car. His breathing has become pretty tough.
We took him to U Penn Ryan Veterinary Hospital and an xray showed three large tumors in his lungs. Whether the lungs are primary or metastatic we don't know and they don't necessarily recommend more testing as it appears to be so advanced.
He's 12 and we can't bear to lose him - we're going to try essiac and prayer.
