| Message | We posted on here, Oct, 10. Right after we found out Rocky had Lymphoma. He has taken a turn for the worse, we are wondering, if it's "time" today. Rocky, my 15 year old son, and 18 year old daughter could sure use prayers today. We are taking Rocky down to the beach, his favorite place, then to the vet's this afternoon. I've dreaded this day, and as you other pet lovers know, it's heart wrenching. Please pray we make the right decision, and that he goes to the Lord, peacefully. Thank you. |

She was only 6 1/2 yrs old. I so miss her. We just found out 3 days ago. We love you Peytyn and always will. Please forgive me for having you cremated. |

| Message | Ronnie is a beautiful gorgeous red fawn retired greyhound. Our group Greythounds of Eastern Michigan (GEM) regularly takes in groups of retired greyhounds from Florida and Alabama when their racing careers are done and then GEM fosters them until we find them forever homes. Ronnie had been waiting for his forever home for a very long time. A young couple finally stepped forward and selected him and I was part of their home visit interview. We could not believe that Ronnie was finally going to get a home as it had been so long. That was a month ago. Ronnie came back to GEM about a week ago because he was limping, a hallmark sign of cancer in greyhounds. The Vet confirmed the worst that he had osteo and I saw the x-ray and it does not look good at all. The sad part is he is only a young 6 yo dog. He was just getting started in retirement and his new home and then he is stricken down with this damn cancer. Today 112713 he goes in for a second opinion and I fear for him and his life. He is much too young to die. He did what he was brought into this world to do and now he is entitled to enjoy the rest of his life relaxing but that too will soon be taken from him. I visited with him just this past Sunday and while still active, he is suffering and it will only get worse. It's possible they could amputate his leg and save his life but we don't know if that is an option for him yet. I pray for you Ronnie. I love you sooo much! you beautiful boy. My heart aches. Hugs! |

| Message | Mozart has a Great heart,and a lovable sweet nature. He is my daughters wonderful companion. She was at the vet today with him learning he probably has this cancer. I hate to see him this way and wish he could go doing something dogs love to do like frolicking in the yard or investigating some new bird or animal that caught his attention. I am thankful for Prayers for him and my daughter. |
