MessageThis is Great! My Grandfather was Michael Eratus Rudisil. I am the son of James Edwin Rudisill and Marie Rudisill (aka The Fruit Cake Lady from Jay Leno) My Father was born in Henry River in 1910. I was not aware of the reunion and plan to bring my family to see this part of our family history.

MessageI would like to thank who ever created this site. My Great Grandfather was Michael Erastus Rudisill and this part of my family history has a lot of meaning to me. The stories are exactly as my Grandfather James Edwin Rudisill told us when we were growing up.

MessageI was recently in NC camping and happened to stumble on this village as I was lost. This site immediately caught my attention as I have a passion for history. What a shame that this site has not been restored!!! Here in Georgia it would have been restored and probably turned into a luxury resort. This jewel should be preserved.

MessageGreat site!!! I am responsible for the recent improvments in the mill vilage. I have had the privledge of meeting developers, movie producers, locals and many former Henry River residents.
