| Message | oh my god I love this little town. would love to come see it. we bought our hose in 1991 it was a lot like these homes. our hose was build in 1907. so many of the pictures I see here the insides look like our house did. I would love to live in this town and know EVERONE who lived there. I think I was born in the 1800s. I was for real born in 1958 but I love the older stuff like kerosene lamps and wood cook stoves, horse and buggy not cars and farming. Laura in Biscoe, NC |

| Message | To Whome This May Concern: I read about complete homes for sale on another site. I visited this site because it seemd more complete. I truly enjoyed the history, all the photos, and the great site in general. I am retired now, and I would like to visit this historic village some day. I pray that funds will become available to restore at least a few of the houses there. GOD BLESS! |

| Message | I am the daughter of Mary Ann Lowman and Henry Lowman was my Grandpa , he passed away in 1950 when I was only 4 months old. I was his only grandchild because he died at such an early age.My Mom said he was so proud to be a Grandpa,and he would give me Coke Cola in a spoon all the time.My Mom had gave me some things that belonged to him I have a picture of him with his taxi cab,and in his funeral register book I found one of his old pay stubs from the mill. If i'm not mistaken my Mom said she was born in house #6 on May 12 , 1932. I really enjoy looking at all these pictures and reading these stories. I remeber Rose Cline because we use to go with Mom to see her and Mom had went to live with her at one time. Thank you. |
