MessageConcerning your article in Nautilus about retrocausality, this just published article in Quantum Studies: Mathematics and Foundations (published by Aharonov's group at Chapman U) goes over the usual delayed-choice and quantum eraser experiments and shows that they do not imply retrocausality.

MessageABOUT TIME

Hi George Musser,

As a former national science correspondent myself (Ireland), I imagine you may get many emails ranging from the half-baked (in I.J.Good's terms) to the frankly daft.

Nevertheless I feel confident enough to predict that you may find this one to be somewhat different from the usual hackneyed run.....

In brief, a fairly obscure magazine has just published my radical idea of 'repressed pre-call' in a new form.
It's an eminently testable concept which can provide the obvious solution to heal the current trichotomy in temporal understanding - between Relativity, quantum theory and everyday experience.
(As so graphically described in your 'Hole at the Heart of Physics' feature recently.)
This article of mine I've now republished in blog No.19 at <thefactsoftime.blogspot.com>
If you then find that one to be of any interest, you might care to scroll further back to find other relevant insights/comments/etc. on time in general.
These matters are further explored in my new ebook "Future, Memory, and Time"

Meantime that I've successfully demystified the longstanding and disputatious mystery of paranormal experience seems rather evident.

Consequent upon which a new approach to the overall problem of time overall seems far more important and now quite feasible....

Cordially

Sean O'Donnell, Ph.D. (Edinburgh U.)

MessageDear Mr. Musser:

I am a student in the Science Writing Program at MIT. We've been assigned to interview a Knight Fellow about their career. If possible, I'd love to interview you. Please let me know if you might have a few minutes to chat over coffee some time soon.

Thanks!

MessageI read your interview with Gerald 'f Hooft with much interest, and formed the opinion that you may be interested to read my work on The Fundamental Nature of Matter and Associated Mysteries.

The referred to work begins at the philosophical level of reality involving an attempt at a conceptual explanation of the fundamental dynamic nature of the intrinsic energy extant with motion at C, that I believe is the bases of physics. From the basic level and by two steps,(virtual matter, then the creation of an electron)the complexity of matter is attempted to be explained.
The work is comprehensive including the known forces of nature.
Assisted by my work with regards a Gravitational Thermodynamic Effect, I have provided ESA with a prediction of thermal activity to be recorded by Rosetta's investigation of the comet it now orbits.
If you are interested, I can supply a PDF copy.
With regards and best wishes, George Nixon
