MessageHello Marie-Paule and Frans,

The ferry isn't a very difficult thing! It goes in every hours from Visegrád to Nagymaros, and back. It is able to carry vehicles and people, too. If the demand is bigger, it goes more often.

It is an important thing, if you can't stamp into the booklet, you have to take a photo about the people and the stamping place together (a selfie or similar). With this photo you can prove, you were really at the stamping place!

I think, it is not a big problem to organise to carry your big luggage on the next hike! But if you don't find accommodation, I could help you.

MessageHello again,

that's good news. we would be very happy if you could do that. and how could you arrange the ferry ? and your luggage ? we walk without luggage and this year in every hotel or B & B we asked to bring our great luggage to the next hotel and that was no problem and that was perfect ! Hungary people are very helpfull ! smilie

we only missed one stamp, there was a sign of the stamp but he was gone. Next year we walk from Fehérvarscurgo to Holloko in 13 days and the same period (18 of august till 30th of August). we also like to visit Budapest (after the walk), but we don't know how to fix that. may be you know that ? we are already beasy looking for the sleeping places.

many greetings from a rainy belgium

MessageHello Frans,

Congratulations to the hiked kilometers! This summer was very hot in Hungary, but I see, you enjoyed the hike!

I think, this winter I will have enough time to write the English description of the eastern part of the trail, furthermore I will update the whole English part of the website. I hope, I will finish it till the beginning of the next tour season!

MessageHello Frans,

I think, I have a big lag with the update of the English part of the website! I have already changed the old profiles with new ones on the Hungarian pages. They were made according to my GPS tracks between 2010 and 2012. They are simple png pictures, if you click on them, first they will open in bigger size. If you click with the right mouse button on the bigger pictures, you can save them with the "save as..." function. They are accessible from the Hungarian main page, if you click on the "Útvonal" subtitle. The counties are sort by west to east direction. The charts of distances and elevations are downloadable, if you click on the "Excel" icon at the bottom of the pages. You can download my GPS tracks, as well, if you click on the "Google Earth" icon.

If you have other questions, don't hesitate, please! Ask them here in the Guest Book, or write an e-mail!
smilie

Messagehello,

we planned to walk a part of the CBT this year in August. With 4 walkingfriends, from Velem to Feghérvarcsurgó in 11 days. we already booked our hotels/panzio for each day. We think it will be wonderfull. we are almost ready to arrange our big luggagetransport. Only 4 hotels/panzio have to answer if they will/should do that for us.

we have one question, how can we copy and print the profiles ?

we already thank you for all the information !

frans & his friends

MessageHello Joe,

I can remember a few years ago, we exchanged some mails. I'm very glad, you come to Hungary to walk two days on the Blue Trail! But the mentioned section isn't too well known among the foreign hikers. It is an interesting choice! If you need some help, write to my mailbox, please!
