As I promised to Frans in September, I have updated the travelogues of the western section of the Blue Trail, now I'm working on the travelogues of the eastern section. I will upload them as soon as possible!

If you will have any problem to organize the hike, write down here in the Guesbook, or send a mail!

Message"...to let us know where you stayed during your walk"

I completed the middle 300 km long section of the Blue Trail by daily trips in the Gerecse, Pilis, Buda Mountains, Börzsöny and partly in the Cserhát. I travelled from Budapest to the trail in the morning, and after the hike back to Budapest in the late afternoon.

MessageThe link to my mailbox is working already, there was a mistake in the code! Try it again, but if you copy it into the mail, it will be better. [email protected] - I use it every day!

Nógrád is a very small village, you won't find accommodation there, you must walk ultil Magyarkút - it is the next village. There are many pension in that village. Another opportunity to travel with train from Nógrád to Magyarkút (about 10 minutes travel) and next day back.

Hűvösvölgy is located already in Budapest. This place has a very good public tranport, you can reach the centre of the town by the tram number 61 in 20 minutes.

Write me, where do you have problem, I try to help you!

MessageHello again,

I tried to send you an email, but there is an error. We have several questions about finding a hotel or a panzio to stay. there are links on your website, but as we don't understand the hungary language, we can't use your information. we are looking for a place to stay in Nograd. May be its easier to let us know where you stayed during your walk ? or do we ask too much ? smilie

MessageYou don't need any reservation to the ferry! You have to go simply to the ticket office and buy the ticket to the next ferry!

My daughter has been living in London for three years. Usually she uses the low-cost flights (Ryanair or Wizz Air). She used to book the flight 3-4 months before the travel.
