MessageHello,

I'm writing this comment fom my tent, because I walk four days on the Blue Trail of the Plain!

My God! You have almost two months until the start of the hike! I think, you are ill, and the name of the illness is Blue Trail! I know this thing, because I'm sick, too! smilie

MessageHello Abhi,

Thank you! I appreciate the positive feedback!

I can recommend to you the section between the border of Budapest (Rozália Brickyard) and Visegrád village. You can find accommodation almost on halfway, on the top of Dobogókő. Distance is about 46 km, it is enough for two days.

You can approach the brickyard with the public transport bus number 218 in Budapest, and travel back to Budapest from Visegrád by bus, ship or train (from the other side of the Danube)

You can buy the trail book either in the central office of the Hungarian Rambler's Accociation in Budapest. Its address is: 11 Károly körút, Budapest. The offie buildig is located exactly in the centre of Budapest, you can reach it with five minutes walk from the underground station named „Deák tér”. The office of the association is on the seventh floor. Costumer reception is on every working day between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Or you can buy it in the shop of the Cartographia. The map shop is in the downtown of Budapest, its address is 37 Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út, Budapest. You can approach from the M3 underground station named “Arany János utca”.

MessageHello Lynne!

There are changes in the General information chapter today morning! I updated the links, the costs, and the hiker maps of the whole Blue Trail are uploaded! You can plan much easier the daily sections and accommodations with them.

I wish a good hike, and don't forget: if you have any problem or question: write a mail, or ask me here in the Guesbook!
