| Message | Hello all! Please check out this movie website (2243themovie.com). A small group of my friends here at University of Central Missouri are making a horror film. We have completed the fifth day of filming Sunday, four more days left, then it's editing time. No one but the three directors know what the ending is going to be. In short, it is about four college kids who go on a road trip and end up being apart of a terrifying game. Check out the website for stills, promo clips, a script reading with the actors, and the trailer (as well as other work done by the three directors of this film). I am helping them out by being their script supervisor, we have three production assistants, three directors/audio techs/cinematographers (they do it all), about eight actors, one stunt man, two food service people, and one photographer. Our budget is purely donations, no one working on the film is getting paid, so feel free to donate on the website. We need all the money we can get. Also, look for the finished product at IFC and other film festivals this summer and fall! We wanted to go to a film festival in Australia. One of the directors was notified that we were their number one choice after they saw the website, but UCM "forgot" to turn in the proper paperwork. We are hoping to find another opportunity. | Message | The interpretation of Xibalba in The Fountain is thought provoking. The visual effects, music, etc... make this movie worth watching several times and should encourage people to question the linearity of time. Well done. |

| Message | Hi Darren, yesterday I saw Fountain and still shaken. This movie touched me so deeply that I could not stop crying while watching it. I am not a movie fan, still I want to thank you for brining real spirit of life into your works. It is a mastery and art altogether. It amazes me how you have managed to combine suffering and joy of life, sense and madness, which contains even more sense in itself. Thank you for your work. |
