The images, the music, the performances, the emotion of experiencing the film remain with me days after viewing it in the theater. It is powerful. | Message | I've been an Aronofsky appreciator since Requiem for a Dream and The Fountain mutilated my subconscious. Just watched Black Swan earlier and enjoyed it - I'll have to watch it again a few times to figure out what I like about it. My greatest wish would be to get a hold of some of Aronofsky's early work, back in the 1990s - some of his unreleased shorts like Protozoa and Supermarket Sweep. With Darren's permission, I would share these films with friends and upload them to the Internet Archive for all to appreciate. Pie-in-the-sky hopes, I realize. Keep up the good work, Darren. You're one of my influences. |

| Message | After watching the Black Swan, in Seattle, last night, we decided that Darren should develop the movie"So you think you are afraid of clowns." It is the behind the scenes look at clown life. Personal experience has made me see the relevancy of art in life. Daren get's it. While Hollywood puts a wedge between the artist and the audience. It's the same shit show, and to us...there is nothing more personal and unerving thatn the story of the clown. There is nothing scarier than the clown with no make-up. Please Please Please do this movie!!!! Love you! |

| Message | I loved the film. I purchased the DVD and replaced it with the Blu-ray in Dec of 2010. I am grateful for the audio commentary release online. I looked over the extra's on the Blu-ray thinking I missed it somewhere on the special features. I just couldn't understand why it wasn't included for a film. I just found this website and haven't listened it yet. I can't wait! For those of us who truly benefit from the thoughts behind the creation. Thank you Darren for going the extra mile. I hope this commentary opens the minds of those who look but do not see. To help open minds and add to our understanding of the world we live in.
