| Message | Saw the Wrestler at a screening in San Diego and Darren said the trailer was finalized on Monday and will be out with Slumdog and Milk. It will be on the Internet on January 20th. Wait about a week and the film was tremendous, I was blessed to see it and meet him after the screeening in which he did a Q@A. The film was his finest one and Rourke will get nominated! |

| Message | Hey Darren, I'm a High School Student (Senior) looking to pursue a career in the film industry as a director. As a side note, you're one of my favorite directors, very inspirational: Keep up the good work. I am actually trying to contact you directly since I've heard from another director that you're very good about helping out young filmmakers. What's really bugging me right now though is the "Vibrating Cam" shots in 'Requiem For A Dream'. In your director's commentary, and even online, I can't seem to come across good info on this technique. I found your work in 'Requiem' to be especially inspirational, and I highly reccomend it as a must see to all my friends and all my Video Production classmates. I really do hope you can take time out of your busy schedule to contact me or shed light upon more information about your technique. I know a good magician never reveals his secrets, but it would be greatly appreciated.
