I go to BEnignus Elementry. i haave learned a bit. i really dont agree that you should boycott because its for whole china to go. Its not like certain people can only go. its like when they have over here in houston (usa) they have the rodeo. it is a big event. People never boycott. Every body gets to go but not everybody can go. It's ether because u can't aford it or u dont have time. But other people go. because u dont go dosent mean other people dont diserve to go. Do NOT support the EVIL dictator that wants to politicize the Olympics in its favor; do not support the sponsors who try to commercialize the Olympics in their favor! | Message | The olympics are about the athletes and the world coming together for the spirit of the games, not political issues. China's treatment of Tibet is a political issue and has no place in the Olympics. Boycotting the Olympics does nothing but hurt the athletes that have trained their entire lives for this very moment. I was an athlete training for the 2002 Olympics and it was the single most exciting moment of my life and I cannot imagine denying that moment to all the athletes and their families. Do not boycott the Olympics for political reasons, it doesn't solve the issue and only hurts the athletes. |
