| Message | I have been a fan of the shads and hank from about 1960 when iwas 12 years old, when i first heard that sound of apache i was hooked. One thing has always annoyed me and that is the constant comments that clapton, hendrix ect,ect are guitar gods, well that just proves that there is somebody greater than god, because hank marvin is gods god, they where all influenced by him. |

| Message | Thank you for loving this people: The Shadows. Late fifties I started learning guitar with them, thank you Bruce for the very first chords. I am a Portuguese singer and composer, still working, more than ever; I was with Cliff in 1973 Eurovision song contest, singing for Portugal, we still see each other, sometimes, in Algarve. Christmas night, 68, spent at Brian Bennett`s home, London, unforgetable. They are a very important part of my life, that´s why I met them right here, thanks to you. fernando tordo |
