| Message | I play a Gibson ES 135 and absolutely love playing the songs Apache and Sleepwalk. The clean pure guitar sound of your songs is wonderful and inspires me to keep practicing. It's unbelievable, but I just turned age 64 and just this year discover Hank Marvin while browsing around Youtube. |

| Message | As a 64year old i remember Hank and the Shadows and the beautiful sound he got from that strat.why then is he not in the so called BBC top 100 guitarists when so many of them say that their biggest influence was Hank.I think the BBC should have a very close look at themselves. If it was"nt for Hank many of us probably would never have picked up the guitar. So well done to him for making so many of us happy,it makes no difference to us if we play his music on our own or at gigs so long as its his music we are playing were happy. And where would Cliff have been without the SHADOWS. |
