MessageI guess I should have mentioned I was an Aerographers Mate AG3 working in the weather office. A great job, always above decks where the action was. After the Navy I settled in Marshall, Michigan and had a 33 year career in Law Enforcement.

MessageI served aboard the Randolph from 1959 thru 1961. It was a great ship to be a part of. When I was aboard her we were involved in anti-submarine warfare cruising the Atlantic searching for Soviet Subs. We helped maintain the peace during this era, because the Soviets always knew, we knew where they were. I loved the Navy and was honored to be a member of this great service. RANDO CANDO, GO NAVY

MessageMy dad, Gerald "Corky" L. Coulson served aboard CVA-15 1945-1947 as an aviation ordnanceman and plane captain.

Sad to say he was killed in a farming accident in Spring 2001. He always had a fond memory of his time aboard the ship and his shipmates.

I followed him into the Navy in 1977. Couldn't decide if I wanted to make it a career, so I only stayed 30 yrs.
