| Message | My Father Daniel Howard Weeks was a original crew member of the Randolph frm 43 to 46. He was A yoeman 3rd class. He just Passed away this morning at 1:00am 9/11 .He was a true Hero to me! |

| Message | I was aboard the Randolph from '60 to '62, most of my time was spent in oi division as a radarman. I was on watch tracking the Liberian tanker as she bore down on us. I'll never forget it! Some of my time ,when I first went aboard was spent in V3 div. Apparently they needed people in OI div. so they gave some of us a test and I made it into OI. |

| Message | I was a Midshipman aboard the Randolph in the summer of 1966. We were in a NATO exercise in the North Atlantic when the Arab-Israeli 6 day was broke out, and we made ready to head to the Med if necessary, which it wasn't, and then returned to home port in Norfolk where we served as the change of command ship when ADM Moorer stepped down as CINCLANTFLT to become CNO. |
